# I'm curious, what is ZwapX?

ZwapX is an online marketplace based on Polygon blockchain, allowing users to buy, sell, bid, and trade physical watches in the form of token. ZwapX ensures the authenticity and storage of the watches and provides a secure buying and selling experience for users worldwide.

The token serves as a certificate of ownership that offers numerous uses:

* **Hold:** Keep your token in your virtual wallet and track the value evolution of your collection or your watches through our dashboard. Additionally, thanks to our profile pages, you retain the ability to receive offers from other user for your watches.

### Watch authentication & Storage

Each watch available on our platform has been meticulously authenticated by a watchmaker expert. After authenticating the watch, we store it in our facilities at the [Geneva Free Ports](https://geneva-freeports.ch/), a globally renowned location known for its security and discretion.

### Geographical barrier

The geographical barrier has been a major hindrance for us in certain deals. Why? Because when we wanted to purchase watches at good prices but they were located outside of your country, importing the watch added a significant amount to the watch's price, making it less attractive. On our marketplace, whether you live in Japan or elsewhere, the watch remains stored at the Geneva Free Ports, and only the token is transferred, making me the new owner of the watch. With ZwapX, the displayed price is the final price of the watch.

### Instant transaction between users

When we used to sell watches, we had to use escrow accounts for monetary transactions, which resulted in a considerable delay as our funds were locked up for 12 to 20 days. We missed out on many opportunities because we lacked the necessary cash flow to purchase multiple watches.
