# Insurance

Each package is insured for 100% of the value of the watch. In the event of loss or damage during transportation, the value of the watch will be reimbursed.

### Assessment of the watch's value

When we send a watch to our warehouse for tokenization, we have various methods to assess the value of the watch.

1. Based on the information about your watch, our system will search to see if a similar model (matching the year, watch condition, and contents) has been sold on our platform. If that's the case, we will insure your watch according to the price of the most recent sale made on our marketplace.
2. If the watch you wish to send us has never been listed for sale on our platform, our system will gather data on the latest sales in the pre-owned watch market using various tools. We calculate an average value based on the sales that occurred during the month, and this value will reflect the insured value of your package.
3. For certain watches registered in our database as exotic timepieces (e.g., Paul Newman ref 6265), when you reach the completion of the form, unlike other watches, you will not have the option to choose a date and time for the courier to pick up your package. The reason for this is that for exotic pieces, we engage an expert from an auction house to provide us with an appraisal and insurance value for the package. You will be contacted via email so that you can learn the insured value of the package and select a date and time for the carrier to retrieve the package.

### Warehouse insurance

Our warehouses are insured up to $2,500,000, which allows us to insure every watch present in our warehouses. This value is adjustable depending on the quantity of watches and their values.

The insurance for each watch is established based on its value when it enters our inventory. Subsequently, we update the insured value every six months to reflect sales and market prices in the pre-owned market.
