# Tokenization

To sell your physical watch, you need to tokenize it. In this section, you will be able to understand how it works.

Tokenizing a watch is a straightforward process, making it accessible for anyone to sell their physical watches on ZwapX.

Here is the process:

1. Click on 'Tokenize My Watch.' If your KYC/AML has been verified, you will have access to the corresponding form for your watch. If not, a pop-up will appear to perform the verifications. It is crucial to fill out the form carefully without any mistakes, as this form serves as an admission document for your watch.
2. Select a date and a time slot for our partner courier to pick up your package and transport it to our warehouse at the Geneva Free Ports.
3. When your watch arrives at our warehouse, our expert watchmaker will first verify that the watch matches the information you previously provided. Then, they will check to ensure it is not reported as stolen or lost and, finally, authenticate the watch and any accompanying accessories. Each authentication is documented with a ZwapX-issued Certificate of Authenticity. In the event that the watch does not meet a checkpoint's criteria, the owner of the watch may incur sanctions. For more information, please read the '[Sanctions](#sanctions)' section.
4. Congratulations, your watch has successfully passed all of our checkpoints. Consequently, a token will be issued corresponding to your physical watch. You will receive the token in your virtual wallet, granting you access to the functions of our marketplace. As for your watch, it will be stored in our vaults at the Geneva Free Ports until a customer physically claims it.

Who would have thought that tokenizing a watch could be this straightforward ? ## Sanctions

Various sanctions are applied to customers who send us watches that do not match the information previously provided in the form, to customers who send us watches reported as stolen or lost, and for watches that are not authentic.

### The watch does not match the information provided in the form.

If your watch does not match the carefully filled-out form, **you will be charged $200**, which represents administrative fees. Typically, your watch will be rejected and automatically returned. In some cases, we may contact you to update the information; in such cases, your watch will be admitted, and you will not be charged.

#### **Watches reported as stolen or lost.**

We verify through competent authorities such as Interpol and a global database if your watch is listed as stolen or lost. Here are the sanctions:

**Watches reported as lost** : We will inform you via email that the watch you sent has been reported as lost by the owner. In this case, we will notify the relevant authorities and keep the watch in our warehouses to facilitate its return to the rightful owner. **Consequently, you will be charged an administrative fee of $1,500**.

**Watches reported as stolen :** We will inform you via email that the watch you sent has been reported as stolen by the owner. In this case, we will notify the relevant authorities and keep the watch in our warehouses to facilitate its return to the rightful owner. **Consequently, you will be charged an administrative fee of $1,500**.

***If you believe you have been a victim of fraud, and you legitimately acquired the watch and the previous owner falsely reported it as lorst or stolen, we will request evidence such as a purchase invoice, message exchanges or proof of payment to pass on to the appropriate authorities and potentially accept your watch, you will not be charged.***

### The watch and its accessories are not authentic.

At ZwapX, watch authentication is the most critical aspect of our marketplace. We have implemented an authentication process that ensures our customers purchase authentic watches. You can find our authentication process on the '[Authentication](/zwapx/about-us/authentication.md)' page.

Here are the sanctions in case your watch is not authentic:

If the watch or the accessories presented are counterfeit, you will be notified via email. The watch will be stored in our warehouses, and the relevant authorities will be alerted. **Additionally, you will be charged 35% of the value of the watch, and legal action will be initiated.** These measures are in place to deter the shipping of fake watches by individuals with malicious intent.

***If you believe you have been a victim of fraud, and you legitimately acquired the watch and the previous owner falsely reported it as authentic watch, we will request evidence such as a purchase invoice, message exchanges or proof of payment to pass on to the appropriate authorities, you will not be charged.***
